The Harbour Fire Department is located in Shelburne County and is the sister department to our last weeks featured fire department of the week (Ingomar-Roseway). The Harbour Fire Department was formed in 1963, to provide fire coverage to the communities of North East Harbour, North West Harbour and Port Saxon which today has approximately 300 citizens. The dept has 29 active members, of these members, 8 are officers, 6 are Medical First Responders and the rest are Fire Fighters. They also have 4 auxiliary members who help greatly with our fund raising projects.
They have the following pieces of apparatus Pumper 71, Tanker 72, First Response 73 & Rescue 74. Along with their own communities they serve that also have an auto aid protocol with Ingomar-Roseway Fire.
